Kingsday Rotterdam 2019

King's Day (Koningsdag) is a national holiday in the Netherlands that celebrates the birthday of the King of the Netherlands. We'll be celebrating the birthday of Willem-Alexander of the Netherlands (1967-) on 27th April. Once again, it promise to be a unique and unforgettable day with fun activities all over the country.

In Rotterdam events take place at different (cultural) sites in the city but mainly in the center, around the Coolsingel, Hoogstraat and Blaak.
There will be free markets, festivals, artists and bands will perform live on different stages and there will be shows and activities for all ages. Whether you are going to relax on a terrace, dance or celebrate in one of the neighborhoods, the colour orange will be everywhere, so put on your orange outfit too!
